Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. About DonorMap
DonorMap is a free, community-run platform that connects voluntary blood donors with patients and families in need across India. We are not a blood bank, hospital, or medical service provider.
2. No medical advice
DonorMap does not provide medical advice. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical guidance. In a medical emergency, contact emergency services (108) or your nearest hospital immediately.
3. Donor eligibility and accuracy
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your blood group and contact information.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a donor.
- You should only register if you are medically fit to donate blood.
- DonorMap enforces a 90-day waiting period between donations in the system, but you are responsible for ensuring you are actually eligible before donating.
4. No payment
Blood donation through DonorMap is strictly voluntary. No payment, compensation, or exchange of goods may be offered or accepted for blood donation. Any such activity is prohibited and grounds for account suspension.
5. No guarantees
DonorMap does not guarantee that a donor will be available when needed, that a donor will respond, or that the blood group information provided by donors is accurate. We are a directory service only.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use donor contact information for any purpose other than requesting blood donation.
- Do not register fake profiles, scrape donor data, or use automated tools to access the platform.
- Do not harass, spam, or abuse donors.
7. Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms, receives multiple wrong-number reports, or is found to be abusing the platform. Suspended accounts may appeal by contacting us.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of DonorMap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
